Established in 2010 by Head Therapist Andrew Kelly, Total Body Wellness brings specialised sports, remedial and deep tissue massage therapy to South East Brisbane. As a former athlete, Andrew wanted to offer a new level of expertise in massage treatment, particularly for those pursuing sporting careers or managing sporting injuries.

Andrew brings a wealth of experience to the team, having worked with the Brisbane Broncos, Australian Rugby League team, Queensland Ballet, Australian women’s beach volleyball team, elite members on the world triathlon circuit and the 2014 Commonwealth Games weightlifting team.

But the Total Body Wellness experience is not just for those into competitive sport. Andrew’s combined his love of health and fitness with his passion for massage and created a team that can help you achieve greater flexibility and movement, whether you’re an athlete, office worker or mum-to-be.

"We have a very dedicated team that is really focused on getting the best results for you now, and into the future," Andrew says. "Your long term health is vital and as you get older it only becomes more important to take care of your body. Many elderly people have nerve pain which stems from the muscular and soft tissue system being so tight and tense. You want to be pain free in your later years of life, so it's best to get on top of any issues now.

"Releasing tension will ease a lot of the problems resulting from tight muscles, and will improve a client's ongoing health. A combination of massage, healthy diet and regular exercise will help prevent that stiff, sore feeling."

Andrew says after many years in the industry there isn’t much he hasn't seen.
"We've had great success treating a number of conditions from spinal abnormalities to lung congestion. We also enjoy being able to help our athletes prepare for competitions and recover quickly so they can continue to perform at their best," he says.

"Our enthusiasm for health and wellbeing is very present and we feel it's an honour to help change people’s lives and go through a journey of self-discovery with our clients.
